Completely unrelated to this legacy, but quite important...

Lately, I've developed an interest into making poses for The Sims 3. I'll probably never create poses like the professionals out there, but I will scrap some things together for my legacy.

Above is a picture of a pose I've already completed. It still needs a lot of work (the fingers, mostly *facepalm*), of course, but I'm happy with the test results.

So why on Earth would I post it here on this blog?

I need help.

I can only go so far on my own imagination, so... I was wondering if any of you would care to supplies shots of poses/couple poses that you'd like to see in Sims. It really would help me with perfecting this art, and maybe, just maybe, I could one day share them.

The odds are small, but I'm hopeful!

PS: I know I could just Google something, but the thing is, I don't really know what I should go search for. There are so many places to start. >.<

  1. I like your new pose, it look really nice. I also would like to have this pose in the Sims because it looks so cool and it would be VERY useful to me

    1. I've completed it (surprisingly, it doesn't take too much time O.o), but now I have a problem with it in game... They're not in a lying down position. I'm gonna work on fixing it now.

  2. I think the poses look beautiful! The fingers aren't really much of an issue because it looks like he is comforting her by rubbing her back and caressing her arm.

    1. Thank you! ♥

If you look closely, you'll she that some of Amelia's fingers are sticking into her arm. That makes the shot rather...imperfect. :/

  3. Hmm...I'll think about it...It's funny but when I'm writing my legacy, I can think of at least a thousand poses I'd like, but now...I come out blank...

You know how a friend will come up behind you, put their hands in front of your face and say "Guess who"? That would be a cool pose.

Sorry I can't come up with anything better and I don't have a picture.

That was my first try at the pose. I wanted to move her head closer to the other rig's face, but it didn't work out like that. I'll try tweaking, maybe try and get it like that.

  4. Ooh this is so cool! I tried making poses but failed so now I rely on other people to make them. Hehehe....

Some poses that I'd like to see include an applauding seated pose like the three front people in this photo:

Or (and I couldn't really find a picture so I'll describe it best I can) someone reaching and putting their hand on the other person's shoulder to bring them back. Sort of like in a "wait don't go yet" situation.

Sorry that wasn't the best description ( -_- ) but those are a few that I could really use. Of course, take your time! :D

So far I only worked on the applause where they're in a standing position. I didn't want to go through all the trouble of inserting an object (the chair) yet. I'm mastering the stances first. I'll tweak them later into seated ones. That's what I got so far!

Hmm... I can't really imagine that in my head...but I'll try my best. :D

    2. Hey, that looks perfect! I actually don't mind if they're standing or not. Now that I think about it, I think standing would actually be the way to go, considering my next post. But obviously you don't have to have it out that soon. I could always use it for a future post. Thanks, Destiny! :D

    3. Hold the phone, you want it for your next post?

Alright, first thing this afternoon, I'm gonna upload those poses for you. :D

    4. Oh really???? Thanks!!

      *facepalm*

You know, I just realized I read the whole thing wrong. I thought you were uploading the poses for everyone but I just read the part in the post that said, "maybe, just maybe, I could one day share them" (I tend to misinterpret things due to my annoying habit of skimming text and making bad assumptions) so yeah..., sorry about that. :P

But thanks in advanced for uploading them anyway! You're a great friend and I can't wait to use them! :D

      *hugs*

    5. I would love to upload them for everyone, but the thing is, I'm not sure whether people would actually have a use for it like you do. >.>

I'm about to head into my game and test these poses, then I'll upload them. I don't think I'll get them on the poselist just yet. It didn't work for another pose last time. :/

  5. Madre de dios. O.o I'm gonna need a WHOLE lot more practice before I start those...

But I'll do it. It might just take a while...a long while. >.>
